Thursday and Friday nights classes just went through their 2nd to the last week. Next week is finals and I'm done with that for the semester. Found out that next semester its just 1 class and it will be on Mondays. I enjoy the larger paycheck that I get from teaching 2 classes but don't like the loss of sleep.
Saturday morning Havol Barkoff snuck into our bedroom and chewed up my breathing mask. This means that I won't be getting a good nights sleep till we replace it on Monday. Its making for a cranky weekend for the household. I spent a lot of Saturday working on the new server. Had the web and file sharing portions up and running. Just need to do the mail server and then some sundry stuff. It made for a good afternoon.
Saturday night was a lot of fun. We went out to dinner (Joe's Crab Shack) and then went to a comedy club and watched Doug Benson. He was hilarious, even KnitTech enjoyed it. She did do some serious drinking though. When we got home we found out that the entire neighborhood had lost power due to a storm. Oh well we lit some candles and continued having a good evening.
Sunday morning the problems started. I didn't sleep well and then when I came out KnitTech said that her computer wouldn't start. 3 hours later I had swapped her computer for the server and she was up and running. It's either a power supply or the motherboard. I hope its the supply since I went ahead and ordered one. Research on the net points that way. Now the server is back on hold till we can get that back up and running.
