Naked Dog

This week HavoK got to get his first haircut. While I agree that he needed a summer cut to feel cooler, I don't really think it looks cool. He lost his signature tail and now just has a lions tail. They did keep his bangs though.


During most competitions I get to have some of my teammates ribs and pork butt. This last competition I just had him toss an extra butt with some of my rub on it so I had that covered. It was so hot out there that I just wasn't hungry so I didn't eat any of his ribs. I did watch the team next to us and thought that their recipe looked pretty good. So, we opted to cook up some ribs for ourselves this weekend. Tried some new flavor profiles and didn't really hit a bulls eye.. Guess that means I'll need to practice some more..

We opted for some corn on the cob to go with it.. Now that turned out great and leftover ones have been broken down and will go into some potato soup tomorrow night.


This upcoming weekend is Boise's only gaming convention, Fandemonium. Not sure if I'll get an update in next Sunday so be ready for one on Monday.
